Hair Massage Oil
Portion for one time use :
Coconut oil – 1 tbsp
Gingelly oil – 1 tbsp
Castor oil – 1 tsp
Olive oil – 1 tsp
Almond oil – 1 tsp
Heat all the above oils in microwave for 50 secs.
Or on normal gas heat, until oil is slightly hot so as to bear the heat when applied on the scalp. If its too hot wait for it to cool down .
Apply/Massage layer by layer on scalp and hair strands till the bottom. Massaging increases blood circulation enhancing hair growth.
If you can do a hot towel over head its good.Stay put with oil on head atleast 30 mins-45 mins. Wash it off with your usual shampoo. Do not shampoo too much so as to lose the natural oils in the scalp.
Benefits :
Coconut oil gives the necessary nutrition to the hair. The lauric acid in the oil penetrates into the hair strands and passes on the minerals and vitamins.
Gingelly oil is a coolant to the body and head , so oil the hair atleast twice a week in hot months. The hair fall is less is when the head is cool.
Castor oil is also a coolant and causes good hair growth. Use this separtely for dense eyelashes, eyebrows . 2-3 drops on belly button brings relief to stomach aches due to indigestion and heat.
Olive oil moisturises the hair and nourishes and makes it shiny. Thickens the hairstrands thereby increasing the volume of hair.
Almond oil too is a nourisher and gives the hair a conditioned look and feel. Strengthens damaged hair.
For best and full effects use only Cold Pressed oils and YOGAM oils fulfills the purpose.
If you have sinus use castor oil less and wash off within 15 mins..
